A thought suddenly occurred to Cosima, as Beth opens the car door and gently shoves her in the back. "What will you colleagues think when they see you bringing in someone who looks exactly like you?" It was a serious question, not a mere distraction.
Beth pauses visibly, thinking that over, the door still open, cold, snowy air blowing in. Cosima tries not to shiver.
Beth groans audibly. "We'll cross that bridge when we get there," she replies before slamming the door shut.
