The woods around them are full of the sounds of life, of birds chirping and leaves rustling and the gentle fall of deer hooves against the ground. But it all fades to silence within Mulan’s mind, and as a warrior she knows the danger in allowing her senses to become muddied, yet she cannot find it in herself to be ashamed.
Not when it is Aurora’s gasps that fill her ears, the sound of the fabric of her gown snagging against the bark of a tree, the distracted scrape of her fingernails over Mulan’s armour. Aurora moans softly, mouth pressed to Mulan’s cheek, one lithe thigh drawn up against Mulan’s waist, her body a furnace of heat despite the light chill to the air. Sunlight filters through the canopy, shadows moving across Aurora’s face, but her eyes are bright and happy as she pulls Mulan closer.
She kisses Aurora with all the hunger she possesses, pushing her against the tree trunk until Aurora wraps both legs around her waist, hips bucking forward. The ground is mossy but Mulan’s footing is sure, hand sliding up Aurora’s thigh beneath her gown, grasping firmly at her ass as Aurora squirms and laughs against her lips.
The forest stretches beyond them in all directions, no landmarks to be seen through the endless trees, countless possible paths to choose from. The direction of their travels matters little; it is Aurora’s company that Mulan lives for, the sweetness of her kisses that fills her with joy.
