"I should..." Buffy said and stood.
They were in Tara's room, on Tara's bed. They had drunk two bottles of wine between them. Tara and Willow were getting frisky; kissing and whispering and giggling with each other. Buffy, even moderately drunky Buffy, could tell that they wanted to have some private lady time.
Tara reached out, hand on Buffy's hip. "You know you're welcome to stay."
"Oh no, I can see you two wanna..." Buffy gestured.
"We do," Willow said, squirming as Tara's hand disappeared up her skirt.
"And you're welcome to stay," Tara said. By Willow's expression her hand had found somewhere Willow really liked to be touched.
"I'm...flattered," Buffy wrung her hands nervously. "But it wouldn't be a good idea. Bad bad idea." She met Willow's eyes. She didn't know if the lust there was for her girlfriend or for Buffy or both. "I'll see you tomorrow."
"We'll leave the door unlocked 'case you change your mind." Willow said as Buffy, blushing like a prude, made a quick exit.
Buffy stopped a few steps down the hall. She leaned against the wall. The room she shared with Willow seemed so far away. It was an awful idea. She wasn't gay. Maybe a tiny bit bi-curious. And rule number one of college was No sexytimes with your roommate. It would be weird.
When Buffy opened the door she found Willow topless, Tara's lips at her breast.
They both smiled and welcomed her back to the bed with kisses.
