Summary: The urge for revenge never went away, despite being imprisoned.
The bars to their prison casts wicked shadows across the floor as the moonlight streams in through the small window. It actually made the place look more dismal than before, if that was possible.
To Mai, the whole place was grey and dreary, which normally, she wouldn't mind, but since she had been trapped here with these other girls, it was hell.
At least the captured Kyoshi warriors weren't wearing those bright, nauseating colors.
Ty Lee sat hunched in the farthest corner, looking and no doubt feeling more miserable than Mai herself, which was really saying something. Mai could practically feel her depressing aura.
More than anything, Mai was irritated. Her white hot fury had abated after the first few days, and even though she had soon lost sense of time, not to mention spending most of the time feeling tired, she would get out one day.
And when she did, she would find the sharpest dagger (hers had been confiscated) and seek out Azula.
