Anastasia giggles as she drags Alice through a secluded corridor of the castle and, God help her, the smile is infectious. Alice feels herself grin, letting Anastasia tug her close, and when their lips meet it’s like a wave of heat cresting within her belly every time.
She wants to just get lost in that feeling, hold the kiss and hold Anastasia, see if the excitement of it ever fades. She suspects it would not, that it would only grow, that the fire within her would only burn brighter.
But they don’t have time for such fancies, not when Alice’s visits to Wonderland are so infrequent these days. Instead their fingers pull at the laces and buttons of each other’s dresses, until Anastasia grows impatient and yanks her skirt up to her waist.
Alice drops to her knees like a stone, mouth watering as she tugs at Anastasia’s undergarments, as if she might die if she does not taste the other woman’s skin.
She loves Cyrus. He is her happily ever after, the one who brings light to her life, and she knows Anastasia feels the same for Will. But Alice needs this, in a way she cannot explain, like a tonic for a sickness she never knew she possessed until the first brush of Anastasia’s lips.
The guilt will take her later, as it always does. But for now she grips Anastasia’s hips, lathing her tongue across her labia, Anastasia’s moans driving all thoughts of Cyrus from her mind.
