Misa stood in front of her body length mirror, first holding up a garnet laced gown, then holding up a rich black corset that was tied together with twine. She frowns, her forehead creasing.
Misa looks up at Rem. "What do you think?" she asks the shinigami who was only bone and some other substance.
Before she can respond, Misa decides for herself to wear the gown. Rem wondered why humans spent so much time fretting over clothes.
Looking down at her, which meant staring at the top of her head, not her face, Rem noticed how perfectly round her head was, knowing that the size a human's skull varied from one another. Rem wondered why such an irrelevant thing about this girl had suddenly become so intriguing to her.
Misa begins to hum softly as she slips the gown over her head, nothing under it except for a pair of panties (which did not match).
Rem watches her carefully with her one golden, snakelike eye as Misa walks over to her nightstand to retrieve a bag full of make-up, her blonde pigtails sway to and fro as she did so.
Such a round, beautiful head, she thinks, swallowing hard.
