"I hate the summer, it's so hot." Mai sighs, whipping a small fan in her hand back and forth so quickly the action is almost blurry to June's eyes.
“You are the hot one, love. It must karma.” June says, smirking.
“Please, have you even seen half of your outfits?” Mai asks.
“Yes, I have. You helped me go through them and throw out the ones that didn’t fit, remember?” June says. That day had felt like an eternity.
“Oh yes. It was fun watching you try on all those really tight clothes.”
“I certainly recall you tearing them off.”
“What? They were really sexy. Nowhere near appropriate for dinner with my parents.” Mai smiles.
