"Seriously?" Martha was surprised and impressed in equal measure by Gwen's confession.
"Yes," Gwen nodded.
"You're into..."
"Yes," Gwen looked sideways and blushed.
"Have you...done it a lot?"
"A few times yes, Rhys is a bit hesitant about the whole thing, typical man, even though I've told him there's nothing to worry about and I really really like it."
Martha poured herself another glass of wine then topped up Gwen's. She took a sip, then a bigger sip. "I've always been...curious."
"A lot of people are I think."
"You're kinkier than I thought," Martha said with a smile.
"I'll take that as a compliment."
"It was meant as one."
They both took a large mouthful of wine. A sizeable question was starting to form in the air, they both sensed it and they both were trying to figure out how they felt about it and how to avoid making a hash of it.
"Rhys said he doesn't mind if I find someone else to do it with."
"Wow, that's...I had no idea he was so...open minded," Martha veered away from the ever growing elephant in the room.
Gwen ran her finger around the rim of her glass her eyes following it. "Yeah, he says as long as it's with a woman he's completely fine with it."
"Oh." Their eyes met. "Really."
"How curious are you?" Gwen asked, the bubble popped and flutters of excitement and nerves surged through them both.
"Very," Martha replied.
"Shall we?"
"Absolutely."
