Vanessa saw the fight coming. She knew how to read the mood of a place, a very useful skill in her line of work.
She sipped her drink as it all unfolded and to her surprise the two groups of bikers both got their asses handed to them by a brunette firecracker in ripped blue jeans and a tank top. She fought fierce and dirty and she punched harder than her slender frame suggested.
Vanessa finished her drink and followed the woman out. "Hey," she called. "What's your name?"
The women turned and looked her up and down. "Jessica."
"I'm Vanessa. Can I get you a drink? Someplace else obviously."
The corner of Jessica's mouth turned up a little. "Sure," she shrugged, then asked "Why?"
"I liked the way you handled yourself back there," Vanessa took a few steps closer. "It got me thinking."
"About what?"
"How you'd handle me."
Jessica laughed. Vanessa smiled as she got closer still, close enough that if she reached out she could touch. Jessica closed the space between them, their hands brushed. It was like someone touched a lit match to a pool of gasoline under Vanessa's skin. Their eyes locked.
"I've got a bottle back at my place," Jessica said.
"A bottle of what?"
"Does it matter?"
"No," Vanessa leaned in and kissed Jessica. The blaze under her skin flared hotter. Need throbbed between her thighs.
Jessica took her hand as she broke the searing kiss. "This way."
Vanessa let Jessica lead her.
