The kiss they shared had been clumsy on Mint's part, her lips slick with spittle, her fumbling hands on Zakuro's shoulders before settling them awkwardly on her hips. Her face was suddenly hot, her palms sweating. This close she could smell cinnamon on Zakuro's skin.
Zakuro had been calm, knowing exactly what to do, her lips dry and smooth against Mint's, her hands placed on her arms, but not squeezing.
Emboldened, Mint pressed closer, hesitating before parting her lips, hoping for more.
Zakuro complied, doing the same, the tips of her fangs scraping Mint's bottom lip.
She winces, but doesn't pull away, instead slips her tongue in, to match Zakuro's own.
