The spirit screams his anguish. “THIS CANNOT BE HAPPENING! YOU ARE BUT A LOWLY FEMALE! YOU WILL BOW TO ME!”
Holtzmann snorts. “Fat chance, sucker.”
“BUT -- BUT MY WILL IS MIGHTIER THAN YOURS!”
“Maybe back in your time, Princeypoo, but I doubt it. I can’t imagine any woman bowing down to kiss your ass.”
“YOU WILL BOW DOWN! YOU WILL KISS MY FEET! YOU WILL PLEDGE YOUR ALLEGIANCE -- “
“No, no, and Hell no!”
“LET’S JUST GET THIS OVER WITH!” Patty screams.
He wails she opens the trap beneath him. “THIS CAN NOT BE! ALL WOMEN BOW TO ME!”
Holtzmann snorts again. “Not in this century, baby.” She winks at Patty through the screaming ghost’s transparent apparition. “I’ve got bigger and better people to do. Your cursing days are over.” The trap shuts with the ghost inside.
“I thought he was never going to shut up!” Patty exclaims.
Holtzmann shakes her head. “Did women ever really use to go for that kind of thing?”
“I guess. He was kinda easy on the eyes.”
“Maybe.” She shrugs. “If you like that kind of thing. I’ve always preferred Princesses to Princes, though, and I like my treats chocolate.”
“Really?” Patty grins.
“Hell, yeah. Now shut up and kiss me.”
“Hey, I don’t take orders -- “
“This time, you do.” She grabs the collar of her suit and yanks close. As she slams her mouth hungrily down upon hers, Holtzmann has to admit there is something quite delicious about taking control of the “fairer” sex.
