There's something about the woman in red that's familiar. She reminds Pepper of Adam, in a way, at least when they were little. Adam's an adult now, and the strangeness to him from when he was a kid is a dream-rememberance.
That strangeness is sharp in the woman in red.
It kinda hurts to see it. Pepper doesn't like thinking of Adam. It's been too long since they spoke.
The woman in red looks at her and grins (she's got a smile like a knife) and crooks a finger at her, beckoning her closer.
Pepper realizes that she can't say no, and as she drifts closer, the woman laughs, sounding like bullets (I can make you fall in love with me... little boys with their little games...) and though Pepper's wary, when the woman kisses her, there's no going anymore.
