I wrote this quite a while ago, and thought that it just about fit.

Bear with me if it doesn't?

Word Count = 185
Rating = R?

Lion in Shadow

Door curls deeper inside her leather jacket, watching Hunter prowl around their camp. Prowl. It’s the right word. Hunter moves like a lion, watchful and silent, but in a way that suggests she has nothing to be afraid of, that she knows everything out there is afraid of her, instead.
She wonder’s if Hunter’s tongue is rough, or if her nails can slide out like claws.
She wonders - not for the first time, since they hired her - what it would be like to take her to bed. But no. Hunter wouldn’t get taken to bed. Not this woman. She’d be the one to do the taking.
What, then, would it be like, to be taken to bed by her? To be wrapped in those copper-bronze arms whose protection Door owned, to taste her generous mouth? She wonders if Hunter’s body - sun-baked and golden - is as warm as her colour suggests it is.
Door has been numb since her family was killed.
She wonders if she really wants to be thawed.
Watching Hunter moving in the shadows, she thinks she might be willing to risk it.
