Author's Notes: Yeah, so I took high school chemistry and it's mix from that and wikipedia that I got my info, so don't be too harsh on me if everything isn't exactly correct okay? Crossposted to my journal.
Lately, Cameron finds herself thinking back on her high school chemistry class more and more. She remembers lessons about metals and alloys. She thinks of herself as aluminium, so ductile, malleable, and easily broken.
Stacy and Cuddy are stronger metals. Iron, steel. She remembers how aluminium can join with other stronger metals as alloys to become strong itself.
So she wedges herself between them in bed, Stacy all nails, teeth and force, and Cuddy all fingers, tongue and heat, and she thinks about metallic bonds as they all three move together.
And each time she feels a little bit stronger.
