It was a dance, with intricate steps that had to be carried out perfectly. It was constantly pushing away, pulling together. Angry words, passionate kisses. And the dance ended with a dramatic flair, in Roger’s bathtub.
Mark and Joanne had compared being with Maureen to dancing a tango. They said that it was a dark dizzy marry-go-round when it came to a relationship with her. What they didn’t know was that she had learned the steps from April.
