“I wanted Josh to take me to Hawaii,” Donna confessed.
“Why?”
“It’s Hawaii. I could lie on the beach and sip drinks with little umbrellas in them.”
Amy laughed. “You can’t hold your liquor.”
Donna opened her mouth to say that it was Josh, and not her, that couldn’t hold his liquor, but she stopped herself. Sometimes she thought Amy got her mixed up with Josh.
And she knew that sometimes she got Amy mixed up with Josh. Because she was kissing Amy, but she thinking about Josh. And the little umbrellas that’d she never get from either of them.
