"Us girls gotta stick together," Andromeda teases with a grin and a wink, and Lily feels her face go hot, damn her redhead blushing. And she proves the sentiment, although Lily never thought she would. While Ted and James talk about whatever it is the boys talk about, the girls sit off to the side, Tonks trying to get two-month-old Harry to talk, or reading to him, or whatever the hyper child does as the mothers talk.
And when Ted and James agree to watch the kids one night, Andromeda suprises Lily by assuming, without any prior agreement, that they'll spend their night "off" together.
And though Lily hadn't expected mothers' night off to end up in Andromeda's bed, blindfolded and moaning as Andromeda's expert tongue slips inside her, she's not complaining one bit.
