A/N: This is my first crack at this - so any feed backs totally fantastic.This is exceptionally non cannon, as this pairing tends to lend its self to that- However all the major events in the main story arc are there they simply unfold a bit more to my liking. Soooo this scene didn't involve an odd Apollo moment, nor was it filled with Athena drama. ITS MY IMAGINATION! i can do what i want. Re-imagining to the re-imaginedness with more..femslashie results!
Summary: Roslin discovers the key to earth.
The Arrow of Apollo will lead the fleet to earth. This I know .
Yet, the instant Kara Thrace hands me the relic dredged from the emptiness of Caprica, I know she was sent needlessly.
Our eyes lock for only a second, her calloused fingertips brushing against mine as I lift the object from her hands, and breathlessly whisper “Thank you.“
All I can do , to keep my emotions in check, is to simply leave the room with the silent grace and dignity that have been my constant companions since this position of power was thrust upon me.
Moments later that poise is long forgotten , as the same calloused fingertips dance their way up the back of my neck, pulling me frantically to their owners lips.
I pull back, just enough to feel her lips part into a sly grin, “You’re welcome.” She whispers.
The relic still clutched to my chest. I now know, the key to our salvation lies in the hands brazen enough to seek it in the first place.
