“What?” Hermione frowned at the suggestion.
“Well,” Ginny said defensively, “I’m tired of getting asked out by boys. I feel stupid turning them down all the time. What’s to worry about? Just because we’re both girls, doesn’t mean it has to be a secret.”
“What?” Hermione asked, “You think that your mother will be thrilled if she finds out her daughter likes girls?”
Ginny had no answer to that.
