The senator rose and swept out of chambers and into the turbolift, Motee behind her. The vertiginous feeling of falling increased, and tears crept down her cheeks.
"Milady..." Motee whispered, reaching out to her.
She pressed the stop button. As the lift stabilized, she fell to her knees, clutching at Motee's legs.
"Just Padme. Please."
Motee lifted off her dress, and sank down as well. Soon they wore nothing but their undergarments. Beyond them, through the transparisteel, glittered insatiable Coruscant. And they denied it.
