Anna bites her lip, desperately fighting the urge to squirm.
“Just a little longer,” Rapunzel assures her softly.
Anna lets out a shaky breath, nodding her head, then freezing when she remembers that she’s not supposed to move.
It’s just difficult staying still when she has Rapunzel’s fingers stroking through her hair. Gentle touches that soothe over her scalp or tickle behind her ears, and Anna wants to press back into those talented hands, wants to whimper every time Rapunzel’s fingertips brush her neck.
“Almost done,” Rapunzel promises, the pile of flowers in her lap nearly depleted, each one carefully placed throughout the intricate plaits Rapunzel has woven into Anna’s hair.
She can do this, she can totally do this, and maybe Anna’s holding her breath a little but she’s determined to stay still and let Rapunzel work her magic.
And finally, finally, Rapunzel asks, “Do you want to see?”
Anna doesn’t even manage a real answer, just makes an enthusiastic squealing noise and reaches for the mirror.
What she sees leaves her speechless.
She looks like a work of art, colour blossoming throughout her hair. So many different flowers of every shape and size, placed with such care, such attention to detail.
It looks incredible.
“Oops, forgot the final touch,” Rapunzel grins, and then she’s placing a butter-yellow daisy between Anna’s breasts, stem disappearing beneath her dress and petals resting against her cleavage.
“Perfect!” she announces with a wink, and Anna giggles and pulls her in for a kiss.
