Summary: Korra doesn't like the smell of Asami's perfume.
Asami may be rich and all, but her house wasn't all that impressive. Or fun. Even the pool wasn't big enough to make a wave and surf on. Korra was about to say most of this to her, when a sudden smell tickles her nose. She sneezes once, twice.
"Ugh, what is that smell?" she asks, pinching her nose, looking around for the source.
"Oh, this?" Asami inquires, holding up a small clear bottle no bigger than the palm of her hand. "It's just a little perfume, is all." As if to show by example, she squirts even more of it on her wrist
"Ewww!" Korra exclaims, still pinching her nose. "Why do wanna spray that on yourself?"
Instead of looking offended, Asami just smiles at her. A knowing smile. It's kind of weird.
"You mean, you don't like it? It smells like cherry blossoms." Her voice has a sweet edge to it that gives Korra goose bumps.
Cherry blossoms? Smelled more like b.o. Which was kind of ironic, if you think about it. But, she didn't say this aloud. Not yet, anyway. She lets go of her nose, thinking it safe enough.
Asami chuckles. "Oh, Korra. Can you honestly say it doesn't smell nice?"
Duh. Isn't that why she just yelled "ew"? "Well, yeah. I guess."
"So," she says, coming closer, "you're saying I don't smell nice?"
"Uh..." This wasn't going to be easy to say, even for her.
The smell is in her nose again. She sneezes.
