Prompt: #1 - New

She first met Angelina on the Hogwarts Express.
Well, that’s not entirely true. She first saw Angelina on Platform 9¾. The whole time her mother was bidding her a tearful farewell, and her father was pressing muggle money into her hand (like she’d have a use for it where she was going, but it was sweet of him), she was staring at the most beautiful girl she’d ever seen.
Even at age eleven, both of them new girls at one of the most prestigious schools of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the world, Angelina had possessed that regal beauty that would become her trademark over the years to come. Flawless cocoa colored skin and long, shiny black hair that Alicia ached to run her fingers through, to braid and generally play with were distracting enough, and added to the long, long legs peeking out of Angelina’s muggle denim skirt, Alicia was tempted to call her mean.
Instead, as soon as her mother stopped clinging to her, she made a beeline for Angelina.
“Hey,” she began, shyly. “I’m Alicia, I’m in your year.”
“I’m Angelina,” Angelina had replied brightly. “Shall we sit together on the train?”
And just like that, it had begun. They were friends from that moment, and as soon as the Sorting Hat had placed them both in Gryffindor, their best friend status had been cemented.
They sat together in classes and giggled together in breaks, they studied together and helped each other with essays. They went to Quidditch matches together and huddled together against the cold in the stands. They sat up late reading magazines together in one or the other of their beds, and even fell asleep together some nights after talking so long they were too tired for one to go back to her own bed.
And it didn’t take much persuasion for Angelina to let Alicia run her fingers through her long, shiny black hair.
Title: Old
Author: Lily Marie
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Angelina/Alicia
Rating: PG
Prompt: #2 - Old
Word Count: 262
“Will you still love me when we’re old?”
The question came out of nowhere. They were lying on Alicia’s bed, Alicia half on top of Angelina, just listening to each other breathing.
“Why wouldn’t I?” Alicia replied. “I loved you when you were throwing up after Ginny Weasley’s birthday, and I had to hold your hair for like half an hour.”
Angelina laughed and pulled Alicia closer. “Yeah, you still did. And that was above and beyond.”
“So why the randomness?”
Angelina sighed. “Sometimes I just wonder what’s going to happen to us when we get out of here. Are we going to live together? Are we going to have kids, adopt cats, or invite neighborhood children over for tea parties? Are we going to die young? I don’t know, and frankly, it scares me sometimes.”
“Well, I can clear some of those things up for you,” Alicia mused, pushing herself up slightly so she was gazing down on Angelina. “I love kids, so we can have some if you want. I love tea parties so let’s have some of those. I love cats so we’re definitely having a couple of those. And…” she trailed off for dramatic effect.
“And what?” Angelina prompted.
“And I love YOU,” Alicia finished, leaning down for a deep kiss. “And that’s all that matters to me. I don’t think about things like that too often. All I care about is that no matter what else happens, as long as you’re by my side, nothing else matters.”
“I love you too,” Angelina hummed happily, kissing Alicia back.
Title: Shiny
Author: Lily Marie
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Angelina/Alicia
Rating: PG
Prompt: #3 - Shiny
Word Count: 369
It was Angelina’s birthday, and Alicia was running out of ideas.
She’d already done the whole “sneak into the prefect’s bathroom/sensual bubble bath and massage” thing last year. The year before, she’d bought the biggest stuffed bear she could find and charmed it to growl Happy Birthday. The year before that was the year she’d bribed all the Gryffindors to sing Happy Birthday to her in three part harmony. It had all been done before.
Alicia cast her mind back over the years to try and remember if there was anything she HADN’T done, and suddenly remembered their first year at Hogwarts, Angelina’s first birthday away from home. Alicia hadn’t had any wizard money and had had no way of buying a present anyway. She’d ended up enlisting Professor McGonagall’s help and charmed some parchment silver and shiny, and folded it and twisted it into a ring shape. She’d given it to Angelina, explaining her lack of funds, and Angelina had beamed, saying it was the nicest thing anyone had ever given her.
This was their seventh and last year. Next year they’d officially be living together as a couple. Alicia knew she had to something special. And suddenly, she had it.
She owled her parents, and two days later they sent her back a little package with a real plain silver ring. She took it to McGonagall, again getting help to perfect Angelina’s present.
The day of Angelina’s seventeenth birthday dawned bright but frosty, and Alicia woke first. Reaching under her pillow, she pulled out the ring which she’d wrapped in the same bright parchment she’d used to make the first ring. She gently shook Angelina awake.
“Happy birthday, baby,” she whispered, kissing her lover on the lips. Angelina stirred, waking up.
“Hey,” she whispered back. Alicia gave her the package, and Angelina’s face lit up, remembering her first year birthday.
“Ooh, shiny,” she crowed gleefully. Then she opened it, and her eyes filled with tears. “Oh, baby…”
Engraved magically on the inside of the ring were these words: A + A = I love you for forever
“It’s beautiful,” Angelina said in wonder. “Thank you.”
“Happy birthday,” Alicia repeated, before leaning in to kiss Angelina properly.
