writing fic is hard work ... who would have thought?

I've never finished a multi-part fic before - I usually get bored and drift on to something else halfway through. This is tiring. And all consuming. I find myself wondering how Idina would react to a certain situation, or what Kristin's favourite childhood memory is, in the middle of classes and work shifts ( Read more... )

Multi-chapter stories tend to do that....just look at my apparently never ending series. It was supposed to be like ten chapters AT THE MOST and now it's turned into this giant thing.

I read what you sent today, and I must say, while both were good, I enjoyed 5b the most. Julia seems more...real...somehow...(I can't think of the exact word I want right now; I've been running on caffeine for about 14 hrs straight).

The details were gravy. They may be a bit of a stickler later on, but for this chapter, it's all good.

I do the same thing...I keep musing over what should happen next...

This is very late comment but...

I find myself wondering how Idina would react to a certain situation, or what Kristin's favourite childhood memory is, in the middle of classes and work shifts.

I get that so often; whether I'm working on a fic or something of my own, I often find myself wondering about the characters or the plot at the most inopportune moments lol.

I'm glad you decided to stick with your fic cos I'm REALLY enjoying reading it.
