Oh, thank you so much! Especially loved Veronica, not perfect, but always willing to make the effort, and how this is a more mature Jackie, and how they can reach an understanding here, away from all the craziness in Neptune. I really enjoyed this, yay!

I'm so RELIEVED that you enjoyed it. Can I tell you... you were right about the weird pairings, lol. I visited your lj right after the assignments went out on the fifth, and I saw your note... the one that went "I'm sorry about how all my pairings are weird and obscure..." and I laughed out loud. Literally. Because...were they. ever. I knew right away I wanted to write this fandom though, but this pairing was really hard for me. I started about six different fics, five of which are still sitting on my hard drive unfinished. I was really worried about writing in character. I'm glad you feel like Veronica especially is true to her voice. Writing the banter between them was fun, but I wasn't sure if this was too choppy, or too quick, or nowhere near what you had in mind. Thanks for the feedback, and for challenging me to write such a complicated pairing. All hail the benign power of the ficathon!

Heh, yes, sorry again about my weird requests! On the other hand, this is probably one of the only Veronica/Jackie fics in existence, which is pretty awesome. And don't worry, I really do think this works so well for the characters, it's exactly how I can seem them being right after the season two finale. And the ending where they wake up together is so lovely and sensual. Love it, thank you again!

I absolutely loved this. I like this version of Jackie more too. Both of them did some growing up. My only complaint is that everything happened offscreen ;-)

Brilliant fic!! I've never seen Jackie's voice so clear cut before, you got her down brilliantly, as well as Veronica's. I really love it. I can picture New York, even though I've never been to the states. I love how Veronica feels the difference between California and NY
