thanks for posting; funny how little I've hear about it - only BBC radio picked it up in my newsworld.

the whole execution and aftermath is rather too familiar given NYPD tactics (love the way the 2nd defense, "he may have ran because he was illegal" seems to be merely another contrivance)

I eco Aclysm's thanks. Been wondering about this development a bit myself, and not sure what to think about it.

Like a lot of things, I reserve most of my judgment because I really only know what the media has to say about it. But it sure is nice to hear more. I kind of see this situation as an ethical pickle and a condemnation on fear mongering. I bet the Risks list has a lot to say about it.
