I hate the Friday before a holiday.  It seems to drag on and on.  In addition to that, the office always closes early by at least two hours.  Not today.  Today they said, we could leave at 4.  Big whop dee do!  I usually leave at 4:30 anyway.

I can't imagine that it would have happened so soon.  Papa is gone.  My heart is full of sadness.  It's literally aching.

Techie called to tell me briefly.  Now I will wait to hear if he will want me to go be at the memorial service as Papa will be cremated.

*sigh*

Tonight I did something I never do.  I went and sat at a restaurant's bar, ate dinner, watched the Astros game/Cowboys game...all by myself.  And I didn't just eat, I hung out for about an hour and a half, meal included of course.  I had some good fish tacos and shrimp tacos, and a new beer Pacifico ( Read more... )
