Eiji/Daiki NaiPani Picspam Post of DOOM! ...Part 2
Continuing on with my picspam posts, we have more Eiji/Daiki NaiPani Lovin'~!
This is technically High Five #3, I just only capped the resulting HAND-HOLDING. Look at how utterly comfortable they are in this position, too. There is absolutely nothing out of the ordinary for them--it's just so natural to hold hands. That? NOT NORMAL. Not from a Western point of view, and not even from the skewed Japanese POV--I see guys hanging on each other sometimes, manly pats on the back are common, hugs even more prevalent than back home. But no one--NO ONE holds hands all. the fucking. time. Unless there's something more to them.
More comforting back-patting.
I really do wonder what they'd been talking about that Daiki couldn't be a part of the convo--and I love that it falls default to Eiji to calm Daiki down when he starts to get suspicious that they were talking about him.
*nosebleed* This is the sort of thing in fics that happens when they wrestle on couches and winds up with the two parties laughing their asses off, breathing heavily, chests heaving, and then making out.
Who's the first to go for a congratulatory handshake? Who else.
Constant abuse! I joke about all the "abuse" because of how often Daiki smacks Eiji over the head, but it really just seems to me like Eiji does so many stupid things for attention--Daiki is obvious (PAINFULLY obvious) when he wants attention. Eiji is less so--but still just as intent on being paid attention to. Daiki is always eager to up the skinship another notch via a head-slap.
Or a hand slap. #4!
This continues my talk from the last post--they are never gentle when they want to be paid attention to. It's not, "This way, Daiki-chan," it's, *GRABS AND YANKS ALONG WITH HIM*
...But then things like this just kill me. It's supposed to be funny--Eiji going out of his way to pamper Daiki and gain his trust (oh Eiji, you had it implicitly!)--but really I look at this and it's just so...over the top, it's so THEM, this sense of supporting and doing everything for each other.
...even when that trust falls through <33333

GOT. TO. TOUCH. Guys--do you see anyone else needing someone to shake hands with or slap on the back or hold? NO. GET A CLUE.
Not an Eiji/Daiki shot at first glance, until you take into account what Tuti's saying here, "...And geez what the hell was with you two in that haunted house?! COMING OUT HOLDING HANDS AND EVERYTHING."

And Eiji promptly puts a stop to it (what, jealous Daiki's hot bod would get him more votes than you?? Well, gotta admit it's something to be worried about...)
I love when they tease each other--it just shows that no matter how Married and all they act sometimes, they're still just as goofy and competetive as the rest, and would never give each other a break, which really I wouldn't expect from any of these guys. But while people like Tuti are out for BLOOD when they compete, Eiji and Daiki are really having a good time with each other when they play games--the huge smiles on their faces at all times are enough proof.
Holding on for support--that's all. Not physical support, because they were neither one in any danger of falling or being knocked over. Just that closeness, a shoulder squeeze, a pat on the back.
The stupid sappy smiles on their face alone--really, what was that all about. They're as subtle as a sack of potatoes (no, I don't know where I came up with that)--Eiji's little shoulder taps, the goofy smiles at one another, the sheer joy of just STANDING THERE. WRRRRYYYYYY???
Does this count as #5 and #6 since it's a two-hander?
This was so slow, and so...random, I'd almost think a bug had landed on Eiji's head and Daiki was trying to smash it. Seriously, what? But that smile and look of just...so tickled at the guy's mask--it's another example of how Daiki sees right through Eiji's facade, to the point that he seems to just think it's funny as shit XD
They're THREE. CHILDREN. That right there? Blow in someone's ear and look away like it wasn't you? You do that to kids you like in elementary school! Teasing in this kind of flirty, playful manner? So. Them.
And then there are moments like this where they're just standing there and talking. *wibbles*
Context: Daiki, Eiji, and Wasshi had all just eaten sushi packed with wasabi. Eiji'd swallowed his like a man, but Daiki was not above asking for a napkin to spit it out in XD Not about to let his Leader get away with it when HE swallowed the whole thing, Eiji attempted to pull Daiki's raised hand down. And wound up just holding it instead. It never ceases to amaze me how their fingers just naturally entwine--it's like a REFLEX, they hold hands so often that any touch of their palms seems to trigger this innate reaction to grasp the other, thread their fingers together, and just stay that way.
And of course, the kansetsu kissu ("indirect kiss")--a shared piece of watermelon <3
