More reports from the T2 event in July
Found some fun write-ups from the T2 event in July (the one I DIDN'T go to >__>) which included such gems (that I've probably already heard, but just wanted to reiterate) as follows:
Regarding their first meeting...
Tsujimoto-kun had been wondering what kind of person would play Kikumaru, his favorite character in the original series, and when he met Takasaki-kun, he was so satisfied it was like, "I could definitely love this guy!" [Note: LITERALLY. "これはもう、愛せる!!"]
When Takasaki-kun met the practically-bald Tsujimoto-kun (he'd had his head shaved for another production)...he really couldn't find anything to say, haha.
For Tsujimoto-kun's first time meeting Baba-kun, they met on the way back from the photoshoot, and Tsujimoto-kun wondered, 'Wow, this guy's thin! I wonder who he's playing...' and then Baba-kun started to say, "I'm Tezuka's actor--" and in his mind Tsujimoto was really surprised, like 'Uwaah?! Tezuka?!' <--the image of 4th cast's Dai-chan was probably really strong.
When asked about his own first impression of Baba-kun, Takasaki-kun was just, "Umm, I don't actually remember..."
Regarding their TeniMyu auditions...
Tsujimoto-kun had apparently been auditioning since 3 years before. At first, he tried out for all the characters and didn't get any. Then he was called back but still didn't get in. Then the third time, he only tried out for Oishi...and was cast! For Takasaki-kun, he tried out for Kikumaru, Fuji, Jirou, and Gakuto, and was of course cast as Kikumaru.
Question: Where do you want to go with 5th cast?
The trio started discussing Disney Land here...
Takasaki: "And I heard that Tsuji-kun went with a girl to Disney Land...!"
Baba: "Yup, apparently he did!"
Takasaki: "Mou, I can't believe you would do that!!"
Tsujimoto: "W--wait! THAT WAS MY MOM!"
...XDDDDD CUTE.
All this stuff makes me want to write them even more sliufdhslidfs it also makes me realize the little details I've gotten wrong in ficcing their first meeting XD;;;
