Below the cut are a few translations (read: the fun parts) from the Cast Prix interview with *pnish*+Nagayan (aka new!*pnish*...because it's only a matter of time 8D), in which there is much gabbing by all OTP members about each other 8DDDDDD

Nagayan

--This will be your first time performing with *pnish*, but what do you think their draw is?

I think it's how chaotic they seem, how envious it makes people that they formed a unit of people who love performing and are doing what they love. Their "draw"? Maybe it's how you can't even really define it when asked what their "draw" is (haha). It might be rude, but it's not like they're a group of super hot guys (haha). But still, they're really a group of guys who draw you in. You can't ignore them, you've just gotta watch them. Each and every one of them has that "draw" in them, so maybe the fact that they're a group in itself is their draw. And they all support each other.

--So can you give us your thoughts on each member?

When I'm with him, Daiki-chan is actually really good at reading people and putting himself in the other person's shoes. Though his getting tongue-tied is a little suspect (haha), but he really is a good, comfortable actor. Moriyama-san is a high-powered kind of guy. He's especially funny when he's acting without really thinking of anything, but he really puts a lot of thought into times even when he doesn't seem it, so I can't read him. But he's always got that Moriyama quality to him, so I'm never worried. Wasshi is...the coward's representative (haha). He's quick when he catches on, but it takes quite a bit of time up to that point. I think he's more suited to the stage than movies. He's good at relating things without speaking, I think. Tuti is, to put it simply, really smooth. He looks like he's just going at whatever he's going impetuously, but actually he really puts on a well-thought out show. I guess you'd say he's a real hard worker. But...in his off time, when he's out drinking, he's completely hopeless (haha). He reminds me of a much older kind of actor, the type you don't see these days.

Daiki

--So can you give us your thoughts on your fellow members?

Eiji's vitality, expressive ideas, and eccentricities on stage are amazing. If this were baseball, you could say he's the type who strikes out a lot, but hits homeruns whenever he connects. I think people who see him on stage for the first time are a little perplexed (haha). Wasshi isn't the type to take center stage. On stage, we play rivals and partners from time to time, but even when he's in an evil role, his innate warmth comes out. I really like that about him. Tsuchiya is probably the most serious in his performances out of all of us. Because we're the same age, there are certainly aspects I don't want to lose to him on, but also aspects in which I can learn from him. But he's really loose in his private life, and I have absolutely nothing to learn from him in that respect (haha).

--In this *pnish* performance, you'll welcome Nagayama Takashi-kun for the first time I see.

I've performed with Takashi-kun in film before, but this is our first time on stage together. The way he draws people in his performances is really natural. I think it's amazing how he can stand on stage so unruffled. And we're about the same age, so I can really approach him without hesitation. I'm really looking forward to our first performance together.

Eiji

--So can you give us your thoughts on your fellow members?

Daiki-chan's a real hard worker. I don't really like rehearsing, but I think he likes it the most out of all of us. And he's really fired up about his performance. Wasshi's the type to get the most into his role. We other three can just generally adapt to the situation and don't worry about messing up a line or something, but Wasshi reads the tempo and spaces and really delicately performs. Even if he's got every line down perfect, you'll always find him reading over his script before a performance. Amazing, huh? But he still gets tongue-tied (haha). That's probably the funniest thing. Tsuchiya has the widest outlook of us all. I feel like he performs while completely understanding how everyone--himself and the rest of the cast--will be seen. Rather than getting really into character, it's like he's able to calmly appreciate himself while he's in character.

--In this *pnish* performance, you'll welcome Nagayama Takashi-kun for the first time I see.

I feel like maybe Takashi's more of a Wasshi-type person. It's my first time performing with him in about a year, so I'm really excited to see what's up with him. And how he always looks like he's in his early 20s is really something that draws people to him, too (haha).

Tuti

--So can you give us your thoughts on your fellow members?

Their "draw" huh... Well, I can easily think of a few bad things to say about them (haha). Ummmm...well first, Daiki-chan has a really unique aura, and you think you've got him figured out, but really you don't, so maybe that's his draw. He looks like he's easy to understand, without any walls, and just when you think, "Ah, so it's like this," with him, he's off in a completely different direction. Moriyama is...a simple genious (haha). He gets hung up on the weirdest things. Like, for me, when I'm fleshing out a role, I try to grasp it as a whole, but he focuses on a single pinpoint aspect of the character to achieve results. I think it's amazing how he can do that in such a sense-based way. Washio is a really calm, good person. He's never contrary with those he's with, and is able to easily take in another's performance. When he's playing a partner role, he's a really calming presence, and you can easily do your own part. If it was Moriyama, you never could do that (haha).

--In this *pnish* performance, you'll welcome Nagayama Takashi-kun for the first time I see.

He's an actor who's always on guard. Me, I've got my limits, and on stage it's like, "I can go along with that, but not that." But he's really even-headed and will easily go along with anything. He's exactly the same no matter where he goes, but I think this time it'd be boring if it was just another role, so I really want to bring a lot to this show myself as well. Not to just half-ass it, but really give my all to each and every bit of the performance. To be an even bigger idiot than usual (haha).
