i went to a bargain bookstore yesterday, that had lots of random books, and I found a copy of 'ramona la peste', which is of course the original ramona book translated into francais.  I've been reading it, and am pleasantly surprised that I haven't lost much of my French skills, and i love the book as much as I ever have...its quite a fun read.

Yeah, a couple weeks ago I picked up my French version of the first Harry Potter book and found that I was still able to read a lot of it. Maybe we'll retain some of that French after all, despite Klienhenn. :)

Awwww I loved the Ramona books! I should find them in Spanish and re-read them. I like reading Harry Potter in Spanish, too - I know the books so well that I can usually figure out what words mean even if I have no previous knowledge of them, so I end up learning a lot of vocabulary.
