Farmville warning to friends

I use Facebook Lite personally so I've been out of the loop on what exactly this Farmville thing is. I just hear lots of ppl using it.

As a heads up and as I'm sure most of you can figure it out watch the scams on it.

Thanks for the warning. I myself don't feel the need to pay people to enhance my experience- but I'll let my family know not to fall for these schemes.

I had wondered what kind of personality it would take to pay for the Farmbucks, etc., when a little patience can net you enough to make a profit day-by-day. Although, if I had the money to just spend, spend, spend, who knows? I might do it. :)

Yeah, like I said. Most ppl I know are bright enough to not fall for that, but the trickier parts are the ones that say things like 'take this free trial!' or 'take this quiz, no sign up neccessary' that have sneaky ways to get you to agree to things.

While I understand the whole online gaming thing obviously I don't understand the buying of that ingame currency. Goldfarmers in some games for example. What makes me sad is some online games will consider/already do offer real money trade for fake game money realizing that there is a market for ppl who'd rather get fake money by paying real money and not 'wasting time' to either farm, earn, craft for that fake ingame currency.
