So that's it for another year.

Christmas is over.

I'm always a bit sad when Christmas is over - I really really enjoy it - but the tree is dissassembled and packed away along with the lights and th ine cones and baubles. The cards have been taken down and sorted into the one's to be kept for prosperity and the ones tha will be recycled ( Read more... )

My cousin and I spent last night going through hundreds of cards and making gift tags and cutting pieces for making cards. She sells them for charity every year and this Christmas made over £100 just from the tags.
I are helping this year.

OH and the left over bits go to the Woodland Trust for recycling

I used to do that !

But in recent years, as crards have got 'trendy', with there aren't that many quaint Victorian/Georgian Kweznuzy scenes which can be cut to make good gift tags....

Also I only got about 15 cards....

Mind you one of those was the official Number 10 Downing Street crard ! So what I lack in quantity I make up for in quality....

(mind you this last point is debatable...)
