Still have to divorce the books from the production, I'm sure. They'll end up having to cut things and make changes in order to get it on screen, I'm sure. However, with his writing, it could be a really good series if they do it right.

After what was done recently to THE DRESDEN FILES, I'm very cynical about a TV series about A Song of Ice and Fire. Maybe it'll be good on its own merits.
