Spike: London Calling, Page Six.

I'm a little behind on completing the pages of the comic, but I managed to condense pages six through nine into just one page. I think it works out better like this. Keeps it faster paced.

Hee, I'm loving this soooo much. You're doing a wonderful job here. And I love Ursula, she's so reasonable about the kept boy thing.

You're not going to kill, are you? (*is scarred by Joss*)

I can't wait to see, where you're going to take the plot!

Thanks so much for reading. I'm glad that people have had a really positive response to Ursula. XD
Let's just say I'm definitely not Joss as far as plot goes. ^_~

Wow! I am so glad I found this. I love the character of Spike and I love this idea of him moving on and trying to have some semblance of a normal life. I am so looking forward to what's next.

Thanks very much! I'm glad you like it! ^__^
I'm afraid that the comic hasn't been updated in a while (and won't be until December). I'm currently working on my graduation art show project for university, so I have no time for my favourite pet project. It WILL be finished though! XD

I'm glad you liked it! I had to stop working on it a while ago, but I'm trying to start it back up (I promised James that I would have it finished by this year's Dragon*Con). :D

Feel free to check out my other work here on LJ. XD

Oh this is adorable! I really love this relationship. I love how cosy they are together. I love that they're into similar things that they can share - yay! Ursula's into Monty Python! In my head, Spike is a Monty Python fan - is that some obscure canon or just my own random invented canon ( ... )

I think Spike makes reference to the "diabolical torture device- the comfy chair" in Touched, and Andrew and Jonathan reenact the "Dead Parrot" sketch in Life Serial. XD

I like your London street in the first panel, it feels very right. have you ever been to London or elsewhere in the UK? Ha, you've even got the bins right.I did spend about two weeks in London when I was in high school. I loved it so much. I have a photo of my then-boyfriend finding a "Vicious Gangs of Keep-Left Signs" petting zoo in a park near Piccadilly Circus (aka it was a fenced in area of park landscaping equipment, but our terror was still very real LOL ( ... )

oh my god this is so awesome!! You and James are collaborating on the comic!! He's given you script notes!!! It's great that he's so into it. You two are the next Lynch and Urru ! :o) Well, James has to get his film concept out there somehow...
Though I hope he's coming round to the idea of not losing the girl? When I heard his concept I loved that Spike just ends up with his new boots and loses everything else, it's so tragic yet amusing. But now I love Ursula! :o)

Thanks for those reminders about Touched and Life Serial, I remember now, but god you know your stuff.

"Vicious Gangs of Keep-Left Signs" petting zoo - LOL ! ( That'd be Green Park - original name isn't it).

He really wants to do a Spike comic, but he had such a horrible experience with DarkHorse and that Spike/Dru comic that came out in the 90s that he just doesn't feel comfortable seeking someone out.

He also wants to do a Supergirl comic/movie too. XD
