I finally found a 4 ft tree I liked and was cheap, but it was pre-lit. So I spent about an hour taking the lights off, it had those plastics twist ties on a few that I had to cut off and the rest were these things that kept the lights attached to the branches I was able to pull off but it wasn't easy and there were ALOT of them.
