Yesterday we de-stumpificated the front yard. Having cut our teeth on Carter's two stumps last month, we felt up to the challenge of removing the big, ugly mutant stump that has marred our front yard since before we bought the house

Congrats on getting the stump out of your yard. What happened to your friends from Arizona though? I thought they were coming, and that's why you were busy Friday.

As for dog pee, steam cleaning and baking soda is a good start...

Jen and Bryce did come in, just as we pulled the stump out into the street. I didn't have time to post about them last night though, since I wrote that one so late. They're good people - really smart and interested in very diverse things. It was a fun weekend.

Aww, too bad. You could have put them to service too. Maybe you can put some sod in to keep it from becoming a mud pit.

if i'd a been there, we could have attempted some interesting chemical warfare on the stump. that would have been fun. next time...
