"if Kirito wore a gay shirt, there's no telling if people will get the wrong impressions and think he's looking for men"

*giggle* that makes me laugh 'cause it reminds me of little jokes I have with a friend about mens-only showcases and Kirito. X3; (and I know he's had girlfriends in the past...but something about him doesn't seem 100% straight. I keep saying that, I know but I wouldn't rule out possibilities. 0_o)

Aaanyway, I've been seeing that tired old argument in different places since Kirito's solo career started. It's like even though he said over and over that Pierrot wasn't going to split, many just decided to keep on thinking this was an indicator that it was over...maybe so they could have something to start drama over? *eyeroll*

Unfortunately, I had to resort to the L'Arc comparison too XD because it's valid enough. How can L'Arc fans stay true to them for two years in waiting but Pierrot fans can't do so for even a few months? Dude, the fans practically turn on Pierrot every other month (exaggeration, but it does ( ... )

XD Yeah, you're right! He shouldn't be doing that during a show where there's obviously no female fans...>> he shouldn't have been running around with those overalls taken down either...*drool* omg, they were slung so low, it makes me wonder if he was even wearing underwear? *cough* >.< ; thinkunsexythoughtsthinkunsexythoughts ...anyway ^^; since Christianity isn't a big religious staple in their society like it is here in America, I guess having an alternate sexuality wouldn't be as taboo in Japan?...so it's likely. (this is of course, just speculation...because I know at least at one time way in the past, love between men was regarded as the "purest form of love" and buddhist monks practiced it even.) But hey, let's just assume he's bi so I think I have a chance in hell. >>... XD ( ... )

kekeke, I don't think the guys minded at all XDDDD;
but he may be hot, since you see a lot of sweat (oh no I'm swooning >>)
KIRITO doesn't need underwear D: neogurotesuku posted about that one picture from the KiritoxAiji HEAVEN photoshoot where he's holding the guns by his side and his crotch seems half-exposed since he's wearing such low pants XDDDD;

Japan probably promotes homosexuality XD; I mean, look at the manga! there's nudity, yaoi, yuri, and about every other thing the USA is itching to censor -.-
we all want a chance with him XDDDD;

peer pressure is EBIL D:
that's why I have to try things out for myself. always.
it's not that I don't trust my friends, it's just that my tastes are much too different from them ^^U

that's true. from what he's said in interviews, his 'true' self is much more calm, reserved, and even overly-rule-abiding. I have to say that I really do much prefer the harder stuff in rock. but that doesn't mean I don't listen to my fair share of rock-ballads. Kirito seems the type to get what he wants without getting in ( ... )

it's good that it hasn't influenced you. I really hate the people who go flaming Kirito and discouraging other fans from liking him =(

I've decided to answer starting another "line" because I want to quote something Ryoko-san said.

Let's see, it's like a pair of shoes. I've had one pair of comfortable shoes for over a year now that I love to death and refuse to get rid of. They've been with me through thick and thin, mud puddles and hot, sunny days never giving out on me. Now recently, I got a new pair that I liked as well and while I really like this new pair of shoes, I'm not going to throw out the old pair just because of it. I'm going to keep both pairs and wear them both because my old pair feels right and I know they still have plenty good miles left in them...and what if my new pair wears out before the old ones or I don't like them anymore? I'll still have the tried and true pair as well and won't be shoeless.

MUSIC cannot be compared to a pair of shoes in ANY WAY. Why? Because a pair of shoes will only make diffecent to you. Kirito and his music makes difference to a million of people ~ Like us, right now, taking our time to write and debate about him. It' ( ... )

AND! (lj says I've 'exceeded word limit -.-')

he never said he hated Americans.
he said he wanted the Japanese fans to listen to more Japanese music instead of chasing after Western starts just for popularity. and keep in mind he's against the USA government, not all of the American population.
he never said he loved the Americans.
he took photos of an American city. big deal. I've taken photos in the USA and that doesn't mean I'm in love with the country.

despite what you think, some people are able to love and hate something at the same time. I don't think pure love and pure hatred exists. there is no perfection.
if Kirito choses to love some apsects of USA (scenery) and hate other aspects of it (government), you can't really say he's being two-faced.

YOU NAILED IT RIGHT ON THE HEAD!!! YOU DESERVE THE NOBEL PRIZE AWARD FOR JROCK! XD I couldn't have agreed with you more. ^^ I thought it was very strange that fans were agog and dismayed at him starting his solo career... many other fine lead singers have done it and they haven't been flamed... why are they flaming Kirito?! If you look at that optimistically, it must mean the fans of PIERROT are that devoted.
I wish there was some way to send this post to every single PIERROT fan out there.

THANKYOU THANKYOU *bows*
I may be a bit stubborn on my opinions, but I'm glad there are other people who respect Kirito's choices ♥

maybe they're afraid of change and overreacting. but I haven't really been exposed to what the Japanese fanbase has to say about it.
even though it may sound like racism, I think the American fanbase are less understanding/respectful of the artist's own desires, and care more about 'image' and 'trends'. plus, just think about things like pop culture and the faces in it that changes every year. there's a 'new Hillary Duff' now? after just a year of fame? (not that I personally support any pop artists, but it's an example)
I wish there was a way to translate it into Japanese and see what the Japanese fans have to say.

Hmmm...I don't have much else to say because it seems everyone else has pretty much covered all of the bases. I will totally admit that when I first heard that Kirito was doing a solo career, I almost cried. The whole concept made be very nervous because many times, not all, but many, a solo career can mean the break up of a band. And if there is anyone I love more than Kirito himself is "Pierrot"; as it's own entity ( ... )

I am in love with PIERROT more for the fact that there's a genious mind like Kirito leading it. but that does not mean I want PIERROT to disband. as much as I love Kirito's solo music, I still say some of his best work was with PIERROT.

Kirito may have kept it to himself for a few years, but I don't think his bandmates (one of whom is his brother) can be fooled for a decade.
I personally haven't heard TAKEO's music yet because I can't seem to find it. but I do respect him for taking up such an awesome project as video game/anime(?) music XDDDD;

it really pains me to say, but some of PIERROT's recent stuff has startd to remind me of some of their old songs. not that they're extremely similar, but have the same 'style'. I'm happy for Kirito's attempt at (and success in) creating a new type of music. something unique to himself. and the point about saisei no asa has completely slipped my mind ^^U I was too worked up over protecting him from looking like a Western-suck-up-er XD ( ... )
