sometimes all it takes is a talk with an old stranger for you to understand the world a little better.

no, whatever this entry may suggest, i am not in fact a philosopher, although by the time i'm ready to die, i should hope that i've seen enough things and been enough places to be one. that would be satisfaction.

that's real true. last year i was at the mall and i talked to this old man named Ralph for about an hour while waiting for my ride after work and he was one of the nicest and most intellegent people i have ever met.He told me about his job history and about his marriage. It was one of the cutest things ever to hear him talk about his wife and how much he loved her. then she came walking up to us and said "have you been bothering this poor young man?" and then looked at me and said "Don't listen to him, he's crazy". Ralph then said "ah, the woman that i love,".
