a myriad of thoughts, a description of christmas

it strikes me as the year draws to a close that my life seems to have recurring themes. they haunt me endlessly, and i hope that once i leave the shore, some new, original problems completely unrelated to my current woes will arise. i know it is probably not wise to wish for new problems, but it seems more futile to wish for no problems at all.
