A long time ago, when I first started this journal, I thought that it would be a great way to keep up with friends. And that it has. I lurk a whole hell of lot more than I post (if you hadn't noticed.) I think that this is due in large part to the mundane nature of my day job. Too much of my day-to-day existence is wrapped around staffing

(Oh and for not nloosing all the stuff you think of on the way to work, someone out there makes a voice recorder for the iPod. I used this for a bit when I still had an hour+ commute. I had intended to get transcription software for it but needless to say it became a moot point when that job evaporated.)
