Clichés and conventional high-school drama are its bread and water, but by God, I don't even care. It's all in good fun and the show isn't past subverting a few stereotypes. Nothing revolutionary (yet?), but it has me all happy and fizzy and air-punchy nonetheless. Yes, yes it does. Every single one of these characters, from the (strangely self-aware) prima donna to the germophobic teacher (who turns out to be not as prissy as she first appears), fills me with... well, glee!
