I spent most of my b-day getting my car towed, having an auto shop try to ply me out of my grandmother's car by making repair prices ridiculous. I didn't get home till late. I also called my mom and told her about it and she basically got pissed I don't have a better job to pay for it. My dad is overseas so he can't whisk up here and help me decide

I am the worst friend ever. I am lower than what lies beneath pond scum. I'm so so sorry for not telling you in time, but - Happy Birthday! I do actually have stuff for you, but haven't sent it yet. I've been at work or sleeping the last few days, and fighting off a cold, but I still should have messaged you sooner... :( I suck. I am the queen of stupid sucky bad friends.

But I send belated mental snuggles! *snugglesnugglesnuggle* And I need to go back and reply to stuff, as soon as I find my brain. I haven't even unpacked my damn suitcase yet, sigh. My poor bro's b-day was last month, and he's not getting stuff for at least 2 more months probably, since I had to mail stuff by seamail in Byron and I won't get it for at least that long probably. I shoulda just bought a second suitcase, but I didn't know how much it was going to cost or how long the shipping time was til I'd already paid for it. Never again. Gah. Australia Post is wicked expensive for sending to U.S.

Sorry you were sick. Traveling takes a lot out of me too. I tend to get sick as well.

Cool. You shall have to give me your digits later then. :D A cell will be good to have for emergencies if nothing else, payphones are getting hard to find, which was what finally prompted me to get one - I was sick of not being able to call for rides, or make last minute changes to plans, and so forth.

Yeah, the rest of my family is still in Texarkana and all still living in my mom's house, although I'm sure Christi will move out again eventually, hopefully soon. Cody is still working out college plans, so who knows with him.
