Little Problem

Okay, I've been really good at getting rid of people in my life. It's an easy trait. But, now I'm in trouble. My little brother has come up to live with me from South Dakota to get his life in order and find a niche for himself. That's a toughie. I've always been one for the direct approach. "Hey, go look elsewhere"...but I know that's probably not something that'd work out too well.

Perhaps just gently explaining to this girl that your brother is in a difficult place right now and is trying to figure a lot out, that you feel responsible for looking out for him, and you don't think that him getting involved in exteranious stuff (a relationship/whatever) is a good idea for him right now.

I think the best solution though would be to talk to your little brother about it. He obviously looks up to you and respects you a lot if he moved up there to be with you and get himself together. Talk to him about it. Just tell him that it's really not a good idea to do stuff like what he did last night, how you said about "see how far it got you". Tell him you are just looking out for him because you want to see him succeed.

Anywho, that's my advice. I hope you are doing well and that your leg feels better soon!

I gotta go, class can't start w/o the teacher!

I would recommend talking with your brother and seeing if you cna get him to see the light in the situation. She doesn't seem like the kind of person that would be willing ot do things for others.

Yeah. I feel your pain on the stiches thing. I got hit by a truck yesterday while riding my motorcycle through a parking lot on campus. I had 8 or 9 stiches to sew up a golfball sized hole in my lag... and my ankle is a mangled heap of flesh and bone...

I'm good otherwise though. :-)
