At a little after 11:00 p.m. on the night of April 14, 1912, around 2,500 people learned that ice could destroy a dream. By 2:20 a.m. on the following morning, the rest of the World knew as well

wow, and i thought that the triumphany return of lafe to the livejournal would be interesting. instead we get posts on the titanic. i'm disappointed lafe, i truly am. talk about something cool, like lasers. or possums. or lasers attached to possums with little backpacks, and when they get scared they shoot the lasers.

yeah. that would be awesome.
