My only exposure to Tompson's work is the book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", but I thought it was brilliant. It's sad to hear he died, but it's obvious he wanted to go, so you can't mourn too much...except for the fact there are not enough people like him in this world and having one less sucks.

By the way, what happened to "not doing acid for a long long time"? Not nagging, just curious.
