Yay for writing anything, heh :) Thanks again for bringing the comm to my attention. I got my request for invite in just under the wire! My fandom goal is fic, but I'm really hoping that the daily accountability is the kick in the ass I need in LIFE.

Most days, 10 minutes is nothing. It's that snippet of time between dinner and working some more. (Of course, that was over three hours ago, and I'm still here, which is kind of how I hoped it would go even though OMG SO MUCH WORK TO DO!)

I hope you decide to play along. I plan to be around so I'd totally cheer you on. I'll be the pot calling the kettle a writing machine :)

By the way, I was going on about the fabulous Chicago trip to a co-worker the other day, and I've been wearing my Steppenwolf fleece a LOT, lately, so I was already thinking about you :)

It's "doughnut" if you're talking about the edible item, "donut" if you're talking about that item from Dunkin' Donuts or some other store which spells the item "donut." Also, if quoting Homer Simpson, it's also "Mmmmmm, donuts." Because that's how they spell it on The Simpsons. Otherwise, "doughnut."

Alas, I was deprived of proper doughnuts (or the proper spelling of same) while growing up and "donut" is too entrenched for me to change, now.

I miss you, too! As I commented to dionneshea, I've been thinking about Chicago quite a lot and how amazing it was to just lay about laughing and sharing space with such dear and fabulous friends. I hope it won't be so long until the next time :X

And yup, I wrote L/R elevator fic early days. All by myself! (The Buffy stuff I did was part of a huge collaboration.) Now one of the L/R WIPs I've been tinkering with for months is thisclose to finished. I think I could actually wrap it up this week were it not for work and getting ready for adjrunCon :)

I only have vague ideas for Douchefest -- one of them is RPF, I don't even -- but I think wrisomifu will really help me focus.

I'm right there with you on donut vs. doughnut. I'm too resistant to such a fundamental change. Plus, "doughnut" just looks too fancy. Like the extraneous "u" you Canadians add to all your words ;-)

Each section would be right after a new script comes out, and with each one, Van would slowly come to realize that a) Reid is awesome, b) Noah is not awesome, and c) Noah hasn't been awesome in a v.v. long time, if ever.

That's the gist of it, but there would also be Jake having no such realizations (this is "canon"), light digs at his blind-acting, and Van and Eric running lines and talking about (rehearsing?) their kissing scenes.

I get that such a piece would be borderline Jake-bashing, and I really DO NOT WANT these ideas in my head, which is why I haven't asked if RPF (which I don't even really read, so seriously, wtf!?) is even allowed, but for some reason I'm having trouble thinking of anything else :| I'm hoping that finishing the WIP will help.
