TV Poll

Mar 10, 2011 23:25

In lieu of actual content, here's a poll. There's no theme or logic to this particular list of shows except that I kinda heart them. Yes, even Hellcats. Erm, but not so much Smallville. It's complicated.

I only checked two! Top Chef (which I'm behind about three episodes) and TVD. Catching up on Glee eventually even though I don't care anymore. Will end up watching the rest of Smallville (as you know) before the series finale. Hellcats, will eventually watch all the Galeio parts. Anndddddd in other TV news gonna catch up on House and The Office got good this season so watching that! I heart TV.

You've got a lot of catching up to do! But I know the feeling. So many shows on my list, so sad we have to make a living ;)

I didn't know you watch Top Chef. I actually watch it almost-live :) I love that show, even when I want to throw things at it.

I heart TV, too :D :D :D

I do! I'm so behind.

See icon. :( It is!

I'm a total Top Chef addict and love it so much. I'd like to know your reasons for violence toward the food show. :D I used to watch it semi-live too thanks to AT&T Uverse! But, gotta play catch up. I'm on the Sesame Street episode now.

IT'S SUCH A SURPRISE TO ME THAT WE HAVE THIS IN COMMON.

Your icon speaks the truth for sure.

OMG MUPPETS AND TOP CHEF HOW SO AWESOME?

But certain personalities just piss me off - I kinda hated Marcel and I TOTALLY hated Lisa F. And while I get that it's a game show and I think that some gimmicks are fun, I hate the challenges that just set them up to fail - especially late in the game. I have other reasons for violence, but I'll wait until you're caught up :)

SO MUCH IN COMMON WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY (FANDOM) LIFE!

P.S. As I think you know, I have done a fair amount of travel for TV and Broadway boyfriends, but I'm seriously just waiting for an excuse to get to Maryland so that I can eat at VOLT (at Table 21) and swoon over my REALITY TV boyfriend in his his kitchen :P

I am watching Glee and Merlin. I will eventually watch Sherlock.

Heh, I suspect your flist is as full of Sherlock love as my lurker haunts. I think you'll enjoy it. Have you seen these promos: http://talitha78.livejournal.com/242103.html

As I commented, I don't even slash them, but if you didn't know the names Sherlock and Watson, you'd never know that those two solve crimes. The promos totally tell the tale of an epic love story ♥

But other than fabulous chemistry, it's just smart British fun :)

Hee, Hellcats. I will admit the few episodes I've seen have been good fun - I just keep forgetting it's on so don't remember to watch!

Heh, right? And then it moved to Tuesday, and due to how I set up my TiVo Season Passes (I LIKE NCIS OKAY), I didn't even realize I'd missed, like, 4 eps! But CW.com has 'em, so when I've got nothing better to do, I stream cheerleader drama. DON'T JUDGE.

I clicked on a couple of those because I intend to watch them
Oh, my intend-to-watch list would need a color-coded spreadsheet ;) I can't wait for In Plain Sight to return and The Good Wife is actually Must See TV for me - even without monsters and explosions! Watching it makes me feel all grown up, heh.

I have nearly a season's worth of S2 Justified on my TiVo!
My love for Justified - and Timothy Olyphant - just continues to grow. I was out and about last night and came thisclose to finally picking up Deadwood.

But the thing I'm MOST excited about watching isn't on your poll :D
Oh, right! I've actually got the premiere date on my calendar and am contemplating getting HBO just for it. Crazy.

Heh, remember when we all talked about just one TV show - the one that premiered 14 years ago yesterday? :D

I ticked several from the list, but Castle is the only one I'm actually current on! We've gotten about halfway through the first season of White Collar and plan on watching more, I've seen the first episode of Sherlock and loved it enough to buy the DVDs, and I just barely (as in two days ago) started watching Fringe (so, obviously, I'm way behind on that one too).

I would watch Nathan do ANYTHING, but Castle really is a nice fit for him, isn't it? I just wish they'd go dark more often because you KNOW he can bring it. I love White Collar too and I hope that you continue to enjoy it. Such frothy fun :)

I also bought Sherlock on the strength of the first ep, and I'm usually quite slow to buy DVDs. IMO, the second ep isn't quite as good, and then it comes roaring back in the third. Are you liking Fringe? I was just in it for Josh Jackson and had pretty much given up, and then it got all interesting! So of course now it's opposite Supernatural again (so I watch the re-broadcast on Saturdays) and it's on the bubble :| Here's hoping...
