Amazon is doing itself a dis-service by killing Stanza

Apparently, Amazon bought the company that makes Stanza quite a while ago, and if one can believe what one reads, they did so for the sole purpose of killing it.  This is a stupid move on their part if true.

I knew Stanza was walking dead when Amazon bought it, because they'd already killed Mobipocket. Word was that Mobipocket Reader for iPhone was complete, but never released because Amazon didn't want the competition for the Kindle app....

amazon has been adding formats, and what they miss, goodreader more than makes up - best PDF viewer i know of.

will have a look at megareader, but i dunno what that is yet.
