Where's your imaginary friend? I thought you said you could summon them.

[...wat.]

Beg pardon? I haven't got any imaginary friends, to my knowledge. Though I s'pose I could tweak some protective curses to make one if I were so inclined.

Yeah? Then who's Georgie? I didn't see anyone, apart from that monster thing.

[..... 8( Congrats, Nathan. You caught him off guard on the one topic that'll have his defenses faltering. He shrugs a bit and his tone comes as nothing short of bitter.]

Just some prat who didn't have the sense to follow his twin to a dodgy alternate dimension.

[Oh hello, this artfully disarranged lady is applauding you so hard she looks to be clapping her hands raw.]

Oh, brilliant! May I try?

[Blinking, because blimey, she could be Luna's sister or cousin or something.]

Good sense of adventure about you, doll. If you'd really like to have a go, how'd you like to test a small charm for me as well?

[Doll is a new one for her. She gives a smile and a small curtsy to that.]

I think I should like it well.

[In all fairness, the curtsy's a new one for him as well. He chuckles a little, highly amused.]

Excellent. Now, the spell's really quite simple. It's merely a pocket of air about your head to make sure you don't, er, y'know...make good with the lungs and the water. I'd think we'd both like to avoid that, if possible, aye?

[Euphemisms, we got em. As well as a cheeky grin because this will be so fun, he has a voluntary Muggle!]

Talk about a dramatic entrance.

The Weird Sisters have their music. That Muggle bloke, Picasso, had his paintings. The Weasley twins have their theatrics. The finest form of art, if you ask me.

I hope you're not expecting me to start clapping. Or throw coins into a hat.

[Oho, she has her wits about her. Instant approval. Can you hear the grin, Claire?]

Applause is appreciated, coins are a good show. But I think I'd settle for a name to match this pretty voice.

... Er, sorry, you did that? To yourself? [ ... the 'but why though' is implied. ]

[YOUR WONDER AND AMAZE IS LIKE CRACK TO FRED. Who simply grins and nods his head once appreciatively.]

Indeed, I did, mate. Quick on the uptake, are we?

[A bit sarcastically, but mostly playfully, as though to say most anything he does is 'just cause it's fun'.]

[ HE'S GLAD TO BE A SUPPLIER OF CRACK. Sort of. ]

Well, there weren't many other explanations that were springing to mind. [ Despite himself, he grins. ] So, do you do that a lot? You know, inflict fake deaths by watery monsters on unsuspecting crowds?

[THIS IS A GOOD THING, JAMIE. The very best, as far as Fred's concerned.]

Something thereabouts, I'd say. We tend to revel in the grand performances, and the very best are inflicted upon the unsuspecting. You'll never find a more satisfactory reaction than that of a bloke who just witnessed his mate turn into a canary because of a little something extra in his afters.

So, you wanted to float in a monster's bowels? Admittedly a unique hobby.

Do you need help finding dry clothes?

Unique hobbies for a unique man. You won't be finding another quite like me.

[He winks, but it's half hearted. These jokes don't work without George to back them up. :(]

Much obliged, but not to worry. I've got it covered.

[And he points his wand to himself, hot steam billowing from the tip and drying his clothes.]

[She watches, waiting until after his little demonstration to speak.]

I can see that.

That stick must come in very helpful. What else can it do?

[He laughs just a little.]

S'not a stick, love. It's a wand, and it can do just about anything I'd like it to.
